I’m entering my 12th year as a contract photographer for Port of Long Beach and their shipping industry partners.
Aside from snapping aerials, a majority of my pictures are candid action shots of people working in and around the cargo terminals. Gritty and raw, those images are my favorite to capture, where I’m surround by hardworking people using their hands the same way they did 100 years ago. There’s something amazing about history repeating itself here.
I’m honored to work alongside the US Coast Guard, Navy, Harbor Patrol, Dive Team and Stevedores to capture there moments and portraits at one of the world’s largest seaports.
