I show your visitors what it FEELS like in your space. Beyond the basic [but still beautiful] layout captures of rooms and main spaces, I go deeper - finding the best natural light and compositions, and styling with your interior space decor.
From coffee pour-overs to wine and fireside chats, my lifestyle imagery will show off the vibe of your space. My photography style is modern, bright, and unique! My clients love using my images for social media pages, design portfolios, and booking sites. For my vacation homeowners, the images will help bring respectful, caring guests to your home.

”Bern finds a point of view that is uniquely hers to tell a visual story. A ship shot taken by her is not like other ships shot by other commercial photographers she bring in a perspective, and her photos almost becomes art. That sets her apart from others, and makes her competitive. Bern is observant, focused, and strategic when it comes to getting the job to your clients.
Bern makes it happen! She makes her subjects FEEL important and happy.”

Lifestyle photography in Joshua Tree California.
Engineers, doctors, a nurse, an accountant, a therapist, a carpenter, an artist, dogs, and kiddos. Joshua Tree is home away from home for them.
Weekends in Josh are for playing hard during the day, soaking up the fun and relaxing evenings by the campfire, and slow mornings (coffee in hand) around the picnic table. These images were captured during the fall/winter/spring climbing seasons of 2020/21. With happenings around every inch of the campsites, inside every van, around campfires and bouldering crags, I easily fell into a natural rhythm with my camera and a couple lenses.
My aim was a documentary look and feel, with some portraits sprinkled in. Tell a story, convey some raw feelings, and try to be in the right place at the right time.
Focusing mostly in a documentary style, with clean and modern compositions, my clients tell me the images are highly adaptable when applied to their brand while showcasing the overall exciting feel of the event.

Industrial photography in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I hold a Senior Photographer contract position (18 years and counting) for the one the world’s largest seaports, the Port of Long Beach.
As a freelancer, I have the privilege of working for the Port’s customers - including terminal operators, and construction companies.
On the fast paced and often dangerous assignments, I get to tell incredible stories with images. From aerial captures of ships coming in and at berth, to ground coverage in the terminals, events, community engagement, and unique environmental portraits, the Port is one of the most exciting places on the planet. Here’s a glimpse of what I do there!
This coffee shop is an experience! Fun, welcoming, bright, and serves darn good coffee. Our focus was on the shop - the culture, and an inside look at a day in the life. When you’re in Santa Monica, CA, stop in and grab a coffee!
